The World of Tarot

What is Tarot?

How does it Work?

How does it Work?

Tarot is a tool for divination, self-reflection, and storytelling, often used to explore questions about life, guidance, and personal growth. It consists of a deck of 78 cards.  The deck structure  is divided into two main sections: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Each card features intricate artwork, rich symbolism, and unique meanings, making the Tarot a versatile and widely-loved practice.

During a reading, cards are drawn from the shuffled deck and laid out in specific patterns, called spreads (e.g., the Celtic Cross, Three-Card Spread). Each card's meaning is interpreted in relation to the question asked, the card's position, and its interaction with other cards.

The Deck Structure

A Tarot deck is a rich tapestry of symbolism and spiritual wisdom, consisting of 78 cards that are divided into two main sections: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Together, these cards create a story that reflects the journey of the soul and the many layers of our human experience.

Think of these cards as the "big themes" in your journey — moments that shape your path, challenge your spirit, or push you toward growth and enlightenment.

Along the way, The Fool encounters characters and events that teach important lessons and reveal the deeper truths of existence.
